Controls

Up Down Enter/Power
  • Up

    Short Press: Switch to the previous image.

    Long Press: Display badge1

  • Enter/Power

    Powers on GifBadge from powered off state.

    Opens the menu, and selects options

  • Down

    Short Press: Switch to the next image.

    Long Press: Display badge2

  • brightness_medium

    Adjust the display brightness

  • File Select

    Open the File Select menu.

    This menu allows you to choose options relating to what image or folder the GifBadge displays from, along with Slideshow options

  • Storage

    Open the Storage menu

  • Device Info

    Open the Device Info menu

    This contains useful information about the device, along with diagnostic data

  • Reset Settings

    Reset all configuration settings to defaults

  • Shutdown

    Power off the GIFBadge

  • Help

    Displays where to find this manual

  • Exit

    Exit the menu

File Select

  • image
    /data

    Displays the currently selected image. Hitting the center button opens the image selector.

  • lock

    Lock the display to the currently selected image. This prevents changing the displayed image with the up and down buttons.
    Note: Disables Slideshow

  • slideshow

    Enables/Disables slideshow. Slideshow will cycle through all images in a folder, in alphabetical order.

  • slideshowTimer

    Set the slideshow time in 15 second increments.
    Range: 15 seconds to 3 minutes

  • badge1
    /data

    Displays the image currently selected for card 1. Hitting the center button opens the image selector. When set, Long pressing the Up button will show the selected image, pausing any slideshow.

  • badge2
    /data

    Displays the image currently selected for card 2. Hitting the center button opens the image selector. When set, Long pressing the Up button will show the selected image, pausing any slideshow.

  • save Save

    Save settings and exit

  • cancel Discard Changes

    Exit without saving settings

Storage

  • sd_card
    0/0MB

    Displays the current utilization of the SD card

  • Format Storage

    Format the SD card, erasing all data

  • Clear Image Cache

    Clear the image cache. This will force all images that have been cached due to resizing to be regenerated

  • undo Back

    Return to the main menu
